“Powering the Delta’s Future”

Reach the people powering the Arkansas Delta’s future—and now, the broader Arkansas Today network.

Who we are

Arkansas Delta Informer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit digital news outlet focused on South Arkansas and the Delta region, delivering timely, credible reporting on the industries, communities, and culture that define the region’s future.

As part of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation’s inaugural Starshine Media Collaborative cohort, Arkansas Delta Informer is expanding its digital and online news coverage to better serve communities across the Delta and southern Arkansas.

Led by Wesley Brown, a veteran business and public policy journalist whose reporting has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Dow Jones, the Associated Press and dozens of top U.S. newspapers. Brown’s background bridges journalism, industry, and public affairs, ensuring advertisers are represented with accuracy, credibility, and local understanding.

Beginning in late 2026, Arkansas Delta Informer will also be part of the new Arkansas Today partnership with Deep South Today, the Pulitzer Prize–winning nonprofit network that includes Mississippi Today. Arkansas Today will deliver in-depth, nonpartisan reporting statewide, with work shared across partner outlets at no cost to ensure maximum reach and impact.

When you advertise with us, you don’t just buy space—you partner with a newsroom deeply rooted in the region and connected to a growing Southern investigative network.
