PINE BLUFF — Sept. 30, 2026 – The Arkansas Employment Career Center (AECC) will mark a major milestone on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, with the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Arkansas Employment Career School’s new Pine Bluff campus.
The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the upcoming event at AECC’s new campus at Regency Square, 3131 West 28th Street. Attendees at the noon event will include AECC executives, chamber and economic development officials, local city leaders, and dignitaries.
According to AECC Executive Director Carla Daniels, the move to Pine Bluff aims to expand career training, certification programs, and workforce readiness opportunities for residents across Southeast Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta. She believes the region is entering a new era of growth.
“Across South Arkansas and the Delta Region, industries are expanding, communities are investing, and institutions are working to reach residents, workers, and leaders more effectively than ever before. AECC Career School will serve the Delta and all seventy-five (75) counties with its robust Hybrid/Online Health Care and AI/Cyber Security programs,” said Daniels.
Licensed by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education in 2017, AECC Career School offers a range of workforce‑focused programs designed to prepare students for in‑demand jobs. Daniels, who oversees AECC’s downtown Little Rock and Pine Bluff locations, said the new campus represents AECC’s continued growth and brings those opportunities closer to Delta communities that have long sought additional training and certification options.
The expansion reflects the organization’s mission to provide accessible, high‑quality career education to Arkansans seeking new skills and upward mobility, she said. “We will connect rural students to opportunities that strengthen Arkansas’s workforce and economy. Every Arkansan should graduate high school with a clear path forward, whether that means college, skills and workforce development or a meaningful career.”
The Pine Bluff campus will serve as a hub for job seekers, adult learners, and career‑transitioning professionals. AECC’s Little Rock headquarters, located at 300 S. Spring Street, Suite 300, will continue to operate as the organization’s central administrative and training site.
